I'll never ask for anything ever again

Dear Santa,

I know I haven't written to you for many many years but I have a very special request that I am hoping you can help me with.

I am trying to be a Mum and I started my 3rd IVF attempt last night. I felt a little sad when I went to do the injections, I suppose a little battle weary would sum it up. This is much more difficult that I ever thought it would be and so I think I need a little magic from you.

I went to the hospital on Friday and they said my egg collection date would be around the 5th Dec, so it seems it will be over by the 20th Dec.

Do you think you and Rudolph could drop by a few days early and give me the best Christmas present ever?

I realise this is a lot to ask as you are a busy man but I really hope you can help me make it 3rd time lucky.

Lots of love

Becks (aged 35 years 9 months)

We are going through our cycles about the same time. My egg collection and transfer will be a few weeks earlier.. more in the turkey day time... but I should know if it worked at the beg of Dec. So I love this letter and it is perfect. I so hope you get your wish this year!

Wishing you the best Christmas news ever.

I'm thinking of you this cycle, Becks. Hang in there--I can only imagine how tough it must be right now, but I really hope that this will be it for you.

It's so weird the way cycles are different - I started mine yesterday but it's just BCP for now, then Synarel Day 14 forward, then injections way later. But my retreival/transfer will be Dec 5-17ish depending how I respond. Interesting!

But I'm thinking very good thoughts for you. Hopefully Santa isn't a mitch (male bitch).

Santa, you won't find a more deserving or appreciative recipient either!

As long as you've been good, I am sure there will be no problem with this christmas request. But just to cover you, I will put in a good word with the "other" Man Upstairs"

I'm willing to try anything at this point too. I really hope he takes heed of your request.

If I manage to get this cycle in action we'll be kind of close too. Day 20 for me on Monday.

Hope all our wishes come true x

I hope Santa gives you all you wish for this Christmas. I'm about a week behind you on an IVF cycle with ED. Do you think he would pop by my house with a special delivery, too?

What a sweet letter. I have been thinking the same thoughts. Started my stims today. Only 9 follicles too. Retrieval week of Dec 3rd. I'm 35 and 9 months too. Spooky huh? But I live across the pond. Could we be twins separated at birth?

Wishing you and you guy lots of luck for success!
